This is pair of second hand LVC 1947 501XX jeans. They are made at the legendary Cone Mills White Oak. The factory sadly shut down 2017 which meant an end to a 112 year long partnership with Levi's.

The 501 from 1947 is perhaps the most iconic and classic model of jeans ever made. It was designed during post war America and intended to be worn by the growing middle class in a country that was looking at a brighter future, leaving the great depression and the war behind. Blue jeans became the outfit of this era and Levi's was one of the big names when it came to dress the population in sturdy denim garments!

The 1947 Levi's 501 deserves it's reputation as the mother of modern jeans. It's high waist and straight fit looks just as fine today as it did back in the 40's and it's no surprise that the 1947 501 is the most copied jeans today. Most Japanese brands have their own version of these jeans with some smaller changes and details but if you are looking for a classic pair of Levi's jeans these are the ones to go for! They have proven to stand the test of time and will most likely continue to do so for decades to come.

The 1947 501 model has a high rise with a straight leg. Please note that these jeans run small in the waist, so make sure to check the measurements for best fit. 

These jeans are second hand and they have been used for some time and have signs of wear. The back pockets inner rivets have torn the fabric a bit and there is a small repair at the crotch area. There are also wear where the pants have been folded.
We still consider these jeans to be in good condition and they have a lot of life left in them. Since they have been washed, please make sure to read our measurements to ensure a good fit.
